Returns & Refunds Policy

Introduction

1.1 We always want you to be delighted with your order. However, due to the perishable nature of our products, returns and refunds are only available in exceptional circumstances.

1.2 This policy outlines the conditions under which returns or refunds may be issued.

1.3 It applies to all customers and orders placed through our website.

1.4 This document does not affect any of your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law (such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Returns

2.1 If you're not satisfied with your order, you're entitled to request a return and refund if:

  • (a) You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • (b) You are able to return at least 75% of the product (e.g. the fudge bar) for inspection.
  • (c) The product has not been fully consumed or significantly altered.
  • (d) You follow the returns procedure set out below.
  • (e) None of the exclusions listed in this policy apply.

Returns Procedure

3.1 To request a return, please get in touch with us at help@thefinestfudgeco.co.uk, including your order number and the reason for the return. Photos of the issue may help us resolve it faster.

3.2 If a return is agreed, the product must be sent to:

3.3 We recommend returning items via Royal Mail Signed For or another tracked service. You’ll be responsible for covering the return postage costs.

Refunds

4.1 If your return meets the conditions above, we’ll refund the item(s) you returned.

4.2 Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

4.3 Return postage costs are not reimbursed unless the product was faulty or incorrect.

4.4 Refunds will be processed using your original payment method.

4.5 We aim to process refunds within 10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Improper Returns

5.1 If a return is sent back outside of the terms of this policy:

  • (a) No refund or exchange will be issued.
  • (b) We may hold the product until you cover any re-delivery charges.
  • (c) If payment is not received within 14 days of notice, we may dispose of the product without further notice or liability.
